$online.exe Options

• Single Submission of test / Multiple submission of test,
• Hint Enable / Hint Disable,
• Security Enable / Security Disable
• Date Restriction Enable / Date Restriction Disable

The options are set via the control file. Explore the following combinations of options:

1. view the control files for quizzes,
2. try the quizzes (quizzes a, quiz b, quiz c and quiz d all contain the same three questions),
3. look at the log files for the quizzes (the log files record the submissions on the fly),
4. marks display of each quiz (the marks display displays the marks distribution for the quiz on the fly).

Access instructions

• The ID's created to access quiz a, b, c and d are:
• student1, student2, student3, student4 ... student29, student30
• Pick an ID to log on. The password is:
  • column1 to access quiz a in column 1,
  • column2 to access quiz b in column 2,
  • column4 to access quiz c in column 4.

Since this Web site is opened for the general public to try, some of the ID's may have been used to submit a test. If that is the case, tests that accept single submission from a student will not allow you to re-submit.

So, just pick another ID to log on. Once in a while I will go in there to re-activate the ID's. Have fun!

^** (If the log file is not updated after each submission of the test, it could be that the your browser is loading the log file from your cache memory. Go to "Options/Network Preference" on your Netscape Browser and clear "Memory Cache" and "Disk Cache".)
