CGI Program

CGI Programs

CGI programs reside on a server, and typically run when triggered by input from a Web browser. This input is either entered directly by the person reading your Web page (by submitting a form), by the person clicking on a hypertext (that calls a CGI program), or by just accessing your Web page (page counter). However the CGI program is accessed, information is processed by the CGI program and an action is taken.
