Metallic trend

The metallic elements are found on the left-hand-side of the periodic table.

  • The most metallic nonradioactive element is cesium.

The non-metallic elements are found on the right-hand-side of the periodic table.

  • The most non-metallic element is fluorine (excludes the noble gases since they are relatively nonreactive).
