The ChemEd biennial conferences have been directed at teachers of high school chemistry across North America since their inception in 1973. In the summer of 2005 we expect 1000 -1500 participants from the United States and Canada as well as from numerous other countries to attend ChemEd 2005 in Vancouver. This is the first time that a ChemEd conference has been held in western North America and is an excellent opportunity for your company to introduce yourself to a new group of educators. In addition to high school teachers, the sessions will also attract middle school and college-level science and chemistry educators. All participants and exhibitors can take advantage of the excellent travel opportunities in and out of Vancouver.

The beautiful University of British Columbia will host ChemEd 2005 at its campus in Vancouver. We anticipate ca. 60 organizations will display in our Exhibits area, which will be central to the conference in the Student Recreation Centre directly across from the Gage Towers Residence and West Coast Suites. Moreover, several activities are planned to take place in and near the Exhibits area in order to enhance contact between the conference delegates and our Exhibitors.

Each fully draped 10' x 10' booth (blue and gold) will include one skirted table with chairs and wastebasket. Basic electrical services will also be provided. You may order additional enhancements directly from our show services contractor, Levy Show Services . A package of materials will be mailed from Levy on receipt of your completed application to exhibit. Cross border customs will be facilitated by Mendelssohn Customs and Transportation Services and the UBC Conference Centre will accept materials originating from within Canada.

High-speed wireless internet computer connections are available through the UBC Conference Centre for $10 per day upon check-in.
