VIII-III. Predict Chemical Reactions

Complete and balance equations (molecular, total ionic, net ionic) for the following reactions. If a reaction should not occur, state that there is no reaction.

(a) Calcium metal was placed in hydrochloric acid.
(b) A solution of copper (II) sulfate, CuSO4, was poured into a galvanized (zinc-coated) bucket.
(c) Copper metal was dipped in a solution of sodium chloride, NaCl.
(d) Silver nitrate, AgNO3, and potassium chloride, KCl, are mixed.
(e) Potassium chloride, KCl, is mixed with iodine, I2.
(f) Aluminum sulfate, Al2(SO4)3, and barium nitrate, Ba(NO3)2, solutions are mixed.
(g) Sulfuric acid, H2SO4, and potassium hydroxide, KOH, solutions are mixed.
(h) A potassium bromide, KBr, solution is mixed with chlorine, Cl2, gas.
