Fahrenheit Scale

On the Fahrenheit scale, the freezing point of water is 32^oF and the boiling point of water is 212^oF. The distance between the freezing point of water and the boiling point of water on the Fahrenheit scale is 180 degrees.

Approximate temperatures:

• room temperature is approximately 68^oF
• normal body temperature is 98.6^oF
