Celsius Scale

On the Celsius scale, the freezing point of water is 0oC and the boiling point of water is 100oC. The Celsius scale was formerly called the centigrade scale because it was based on the 100-degrees distance on a thermometer between the freezing point of water and the boiling point of water.
