Experiment 11 - Laboratory Examination - Acid-Base Titration


  1. determine the concentration of a NaOH solution


In this experiment, a standard solution of potassium hydrogen phthalate, HKC8H4O4 will be prepared and then used in a titration to determne the concentration of an unknown base solution. Phenolphthalein will be used as the acid-base indicator.

The molar mass for HKC8H4O4 is 204.2 g/mole.
