Chem 0010 Online Assignments

Instructions:

The online assignments are a combination of multiple-choice and entering the answers into textboxes. You can call up the assignments as many times as you like by clicking on the assignment icons. Print them out and take your time to work through them. However, you can only submit an assignment ONCE. Once you've submitted an assignment, you will not be able to access the assignment until your instructor opens the assignment for reviewing.

For online assignments, you will not be penalized for submitting answers with incorrect number of significant figures. However, when you enter an answer into the textboxes, do NOT type in the units. Use scientific notation to enter in very big or very small numbers.

For example:

• 0.0000455 can be entered as is or as 4.55e-5
  (Note: with no spaces in between the numbers and the exponent 'e')
  
  
• 4678922 can be entered as is or as 4.68e6
  but NOT 4,678,922 (Note: no commas)
  
  
• What is the answer to the following question:
  
  2.0 grams + 3 grams + 8.8 grams = ?
