The BCIT Online Chemistry Resource Center
Presenter: Rosamaria Fong
Abstract: The BCIT Chemistry Department has an online Chemistry Resource Center available for use as an online resource for all Science teachers and students. Available on the site are: a pictorial Periodic Table of Elements, chemistry modules at a Chemistry 11 level, and an XML database of over 500 interactive Chemistry self-assessment problems.

Integrating Technology into our Science Classroom
Presenter: Peter Thackwray (DeBeck Elementary School) and Rosamaria Fong (BCIT)
Abstract: Through the use of Internet computer technology, this presentation will provide an example of how a science unit (in this case a chemistry unit) can engage students and their parents beyond the classroom.
